Air conditioning removes heat from the cabin through a closed refrigerant circuit and the associated airflow system. Weak cooling can result from leakage, control problems or heat exchanger condition, while cabin odour and moisture call for assessment of another part of the climate unit. This area separates those tasks and selects checks according to the actual complaint.
Circuit condition is assessed before deciding on a recharge or component replacement. Repeated refrigerant top-ups do not repair a leak, and interior treatment does not correct drainage or dirty air passages. Access and related work depend on vehicle design and are agreed separately. The result is a clear servicing scope explaining which causes of the complaint it addresses.
