MAF sensor replacement
The mass airflow sensor tells the control unit how much air enters the engine.

- When it becomes contaminated or ages, its readings are too low or too high, causing hesitation on acceleration, jerks, difficult starting, higher consumption and sometimes limp mode. A common cause is oil from a zero-resistance filter or dust entering through an unsealed filter housing. Before replacement, we compare the sensor reading with the calculated value for the relevant engine speed; this distinguishes a faulty MAF sensor from an air leak with similar symptoms.
