- When deposits build up on the nozzle, the spray turns into a jet: fuel burns incompletely, causing hesitation under acceleration, uneven idle, higher consumption and smoke. Flushing restores flow without dismantling the injectors and is often sufficient. We assess condition from engine behaviour and fuel trims, flush the system and check the result. If flushing does not help, we explain that removal for ultrasonic cleaning or replacement is needed, rather than charging for repeated ineffective flushing.
