- When it clogs, airflow from the vents weakens, windows mist up and take longer to clear, and a musty smell develops because mould grows on a damp filter. Kyiv traffic quickly loads the filter with dust, rubber particles and exhaust from nearby cars. During replacement, we clear leaves and debris drawn in by the fan from the filter seat and evaporator housing. When needed, we offer an activated-carbon filter: it blocks odours better but has a shorter service life. For a strong smell, we recommend additional A/C-system treatment.
