Parking Brake Pad Replacement
Parking brake shoes hold the vehicle through a dedicated mechanism, sometimes housed inside the brake disc. Worn, detached or contaminated linings can reduce holding ability. Before replacement, we check the cables, levers and adjuster: tightening a cable cannot restore damaged shoes. Springs and support parts must be correctly positioned during assembly. We then set the working clearance and check that the mechanism holds the wheel when applied and releases it fully when disengaged.
