Brake Pad Replacement
Brake pad replacement renews the friction material that wears during braking. We first identify the brake design and assess lining thickness, the mating surface and the wear pattern. If one pad is more worn than the others, the cause may lie in caliper movement or another part of the mechanism. Fitting new pads alone will not correct that underlying fault. Once the parts are replaced, we check their seating and brake operation. Any additional repair is discussed separately on the basis of the inspection.
