Towbar Electrical Installation
Towbar electrics connect the vehicle to trailer lighting and supported trailer functions. The wiring arrangement depends on vehicle electronics, socket type and whether an interface module is required. Incorrect connections to the original lamps can create overloads or control faults, so the kit is matched to the system. Installation protects the wiring, supply and body pass-through points. We then check pin functions and signal operation. Mechanical towbar installation is not included in this electrical operation.
