Electric Actuator Adjustment and Adaptation
Actuator adaptation aligns position and operating range with electronic control after work specified by the manufacturer. The need depends on the particular unit; one command is not suitable for every vehicle actuator. Before the procedure, we check installation, mechanical movement and faults that could prevent learning. Adaptation cannot restore broken gears or free a jammed flap. Afterwards, commanded and actual movement are compared, and either the result or the reason learning could not complete is recorded.
What's included
- Identify the actuator and required adaptation procedure.
- Check installation, movement and existing faults.
- Run the system-specific learning procedure.
- Check actual movement and record the result.
